Tortoise Holidays
We offer a holiday boarding service for tortoises so you can enjoy your holiday safe in the knowledge that your tortoise is being cared for correctly by an experience tortoise owner whilst you are away.

Frances has owned Tortoises for over 6 years now and has adopted tortoises
from the SSPCA and The Tortoise Protection Group. She has 2 Horsefield
Tortoises (Stampy & Stella) and 2 Leopard Tortoises (Sparty & Alfredo).
She understands what your tortoise needs to be healthy and happy while you
are away.
We offer suitable tortoise enclosures with everything your little tort will need
for a happy healthy holiday. If you would prefer to bring your own enclosure that
is fine too. There is a £10 fee to use one of our cages.

Whilst in our care all animals are housed separately unless they come together.
We will ask how often you feed your pet and what you feed them, any
supplements and especially what treats are their favourite. If your pet has
a routine we will try to follow that as this will help your pet to feel more
settled with us.
Our daily care schedule includes health checks, exercise, bathing where
appropriate and any other special requirements that is stated by
yourself. When the weather allows we will always put your tortoise in our
tortoise garden to stretch their legs and do some Basking in the natural sun.

In the event of any illness occurring, veterinary advice and treatment, if necessary,
will take place and you will be contacted directly. The cost of all veterinary bills will be covered by you.
We spend lots of time with our guests every day, ensuring they are happy and
well. We provide regular email or Whatsapp updates of your pets holiday,
including photos and videos.

Drop off/Collection times
Mon to Fri 9am - 3pm
Sat & Sun 10am - 2pm
We will contact you a few days before the arrival date to arrange collection/drop off times. Please be punctual when dropping off or collection your pet. We understand things happen but it you are going to be late even 10 minutes please let us know.
